Hi everyone – hope you are all recouperating from Digital Scrapbooking Day! Today we are featuring Jenn (aka scrappymama or craftymama)! She is a wonderful member of the team with lots of spirit and of course – WONDERFUL layouts!

Hi everyone, I’m Jenn (scrappymama) and I am here on Andilynn’s blog to talk about just one her beautiful kits.  I live in northwest Iowa and am married to my amazing hubby Josh. We have 1 beautiful 1yr old named Alivia grace. I am a freelance graphic designer/ photographer and very busy stay at home mommy. I have been digiscrapping for almost one year and become more and more addicted with every layout and kit. I did a little traditional scrapping, but hated getting out all the “stuff” only to have to put it all away seconds later.

I want to share the kit My Favorite Valentine with you.  I just love this kit, it is super cute, versatile, and vintage. I chose to create a layout showing off my cutie patootie and how much I love her. I wanted to show how you can create layouts with this kit other than the typical valentines day layouts.

I think it would be really cute to create layouts of weddings, engagements, everyday love layouts and even birth pages. I love the fun patterned papers, cute trims, and beautiful doilies. The adorable vintage valentine cards are so cute and unique. I will definitely be using this kit over and over!  Winter Whites

Let’s here from LeAnn (scaccogirl):

I just love the creamy whites in this kit mixed with the strong green pine branches.  The photo was taken when my oldest son was just over a year old.  It was the first time he’d been able to really play in the snow.  We didn’t have a sled, so my husband put our son in a laundry basket and pulled him around in the snow.  Jacob was having the time of his life!

It is such a fun memory for us, and this snowy kit is perfect!

I just love the blending and the pure joy of this photo.  For a bit of extra color LeAnn also used the candy cane and wreath paper from Be Merry. And the joy cluster is great isn’t it? You can find it in the Holiday Clusters set all ready to go.

Let’s hear from Jen!

I’m Jen and I used Fall Frolic kit and alphas for this page.  My primary inspiration was simply the changing seasons.  I find the cool breezes and magnificent colors of Autumn to be refreshing and often breathtaking.  There are times when I make a page to tell a story about my kids or our life, and I love those pages.  Then there are times when I use this hobby as a way to express my love for things… like this season.  I sometimes enjoy just turning a memory into art.  Hence, this particular page.

The photo was taken at a friend’s farm and the sights and smells of that time still resonate with me.  I wanted to remember that beautiful place and share it with my family.  I used one of Andilynn’s templates as well, providing the skeleton for this page.  I don’t often use templates, but sometimes find it a great way to jump start my creativity.

Her chosen kit to highlight: Alvean’s Beauty Parlor

There’s not a lot of kits on haircuts and salons, Alvean’s Beauty Parlor was just what I was looking for for scrapping my girls’ new dos.  I just love the vintage feel of this kit with its soft colors and fun elements for styling your hair.  Growing up I wasn’t a huge fan of getting a haircut, I was one of those kids that cried seeing my locks get cut and fall on the parlor floor.  My mom kept my hair short all the time for so i can better manage it, but many times I was mistaken for a boy.  So once I had any say in how I wanted my hair, it was always long, sometimes wavy back when perms were in.  Now I let my girls decide how they want their hair cut, I want them to have an enjoyable experience and look forward to getting their hair done.

I love how she added the embellishments petite sized and the soft photo treatments to really make the page a stand out! Thanks for sharing Sam!

Today we are going to focus on Fair Are the Meadows!

I love, love the colors in Fair are the Meadows! They are so completely versatile! They work well for spring layouts, fall layouts, and really anything in between. I like to choose my kits by the colors that they have, and not as much by the elements. As long as there are some versatile elements, like flowers and foliage, I can make them work for any layout. I am also a template scrapper. I find that I can concentrate more on the papers and elements if I already had some idea of where my pictures are going. Then, I pop in the pictures, choose which papers will work the best for them, and I am free to cluster to my hearts content. That’s what I love so much about this kit, it has such beautiful elements that can work for any occasion.

Hi ya’ll, I’m Shauna (aka tomosia) and I’m very excited to be on Andilynn’s team.  I’m a native Texan, single, but I have three babies, the short four legged furry kind.  I have always loved taking photos and scrapping was a natural progression for me. I have been paper scrapping for several years, but when I discovered digi scrapping, it was true love.  All the fun, but none of the mess and you can use the paper and elements over and over. Who could ask for more, especially when you get a kit you really love.

I have found a kit by Andilynn that I really love and it is called Forget-Me-Not.  The bright colors were the first thing that drew me to the kit, but it is the mix of great elements and papers that keep me coming back to it over and over.  I have used this kit for several layouts already, with different types of photos. Which is a really cool thing!!!!! I really love the flowers and greenery, because they are perfect for clustering.  Not to mention all the wonderful trims.  Here are a couple of my favorites.
