It’s been a little while since we last featured one of Andilynn’s CT members – but today we will be learning a little more about Amy (anrobe)! Amy started with us during the Battle of the Creative Teams at Digiscrapaddicts last year. She had been scrapping amazing layouts using Andilynn’s products before that as part of the ScrapMatters site creative team. Thanks for joining us and staying Amy!
A little bit about Amy:
My name is Amy Melniczenko (anrobe in the digi world). I am 37, I currently live in St. Louis, MO with my husband Paul and our three children. Our oldest is Sami who is 15 years old. We also have six year old boy/girl twins – Meighan and Alex!
I paper scrapped for as long as I can remember (even as a kid, I kept scrapbooks). I started scrapping ‘archivally’ in 2000 when I began working on our wedding planning album and stumbled into the paper scrapping industry. I paper scrapped until I discovered digital scrapping in 2005 just after the twins were born. And, thank goodness!!!! The mess of paper scrapping was becoming entirely too overwhelming for me. Thank goodness for digi! I’m fairly obsessed with digi these days.
Let’s see – I’m also a huge reader, I read several books a week. I pretty much always have a book in my hand, reading bits whenever I have a free moment. I primarly read via my B&N Nook which I absolutely love! I love the color green. And I tend to be a bit shy in real life. And I’m definitely a homebody – I love to stay home in my pj’s with my family! It’s my favorite place to be. In my ‘real life’, I work FT as a Project Manager for the brokerage business of a national bank.
Amy chose Rosalie for her featured kit:

Amy’s thoughts on Rosalie and her new layout:
For this layout, I focused on telling the story that jumped out at me the moment that I saw the photo in a stack of old photos that my mother dug up for me. I used the kit elements to really accentuate the story that I was telling. This kit, Rosalie, is perfect for heritage pages. The entire kit has a old timey, heritage type feel. It’s truly a beautiful kit and is a particularly good fit for heritage pages about women/little girls.

Isn’t this a fantastic layout? I love how the big block of text balances that wonderful large black and white photo. I love how Amy captioned the photo as well. And the cluster is so fun!
Thanks Amy for sharing today!
